Comme chez Maman The bistronome of thes Batignolles
From his childhood in Flanders, near Antwerp in Belgium, Wim Van Gorp cultivated the taste of a convivial kitchen made from traditional and real products. From his experiences at the most prestigious chefs (Westermann, Alain Ducasse, Joël Robuchon and Jean-Georges Vongerichten), Wim has acquired the taste of techniques, rigor, skill and passion for culinary know-how.
From his travels to Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York, Wim brought back the taste of spices, and colors with surprising but always tasty alliances.
Today, Wim offers in his restaurant in the heart of Batignolles in Paris recipes without artifice where the great classics of French cuisine are respected and sublimated with talent and creativity.
A sample of life in the kitchens and restaurant room.
